Awareness Program at Homeguard Battalion
On 04-02-2026, CARE had the opportunity to conduct an awareness camp along with DAPO Sirmaur, Dr. Nisar Ahmed, at the Home Guards Battalion and Training Centre, Nahan. The event was chaired by the honorable DAPO Sirmaur, Dr. Nisar Ahmed . CARE shared detailed information on drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, TB, and other diseases, including IEC activities.
On this occasion, the Manager of “CARE” Kala Amb and Home Guard Commandant Shri Som Dutt Sharma, along with about 39 soldiers (personnel), participated and took a pledge to stay away from drugs.
